Platforms are built to the working platform certificate requirements your piling contractor and engineer set, including thickness, material grading and compaction testing. We can also form the ramps, hardstands and crane pads the same rig needs, and strip the platform out again once piling is complete so the site is ready for bulk excavation or slab works.

- Rigs impose high, concentrated loads and can overturn on ground that has not been proven. A designed platform spreads that load and is a standard safety requirement.
- What material is used to build a platform?
- Imported granular material to the geotechnical specification, placed in layers and compacted. Grading and thickness come from the platform design, not a standard recipe.
- Is the platform removed afterwards?
- It can be. Platforms are commonly stripped and the material reused or removed once piling is finished, ahead of excavation or slab construction.
